Shed Some Light On Your Music

2

Mighty Bright Light Anyone who’s ever had a performance or played a gig in a dimly-lit concert hall or bar knows that it’s nearly impossible to see your music or read your charts without some form of light. We purchased a couple of these stand lights for ourselves and friends – and decided that this product should definitely go under our “groovy products” category.

For about $20, you can purchase this telescoping Mighty Bright Triple LED Music Stand Light for your own use. It has 3 LED lights that never need replacing. The light can be aimed directly at your music, charts, mixer, or wherever else you need some bright, focused light (just don’t point it at anyone’s eyes!). It clips on to a music stand very easily, and comes with its own tiny “gig bag”. It weighs 7 ounces and requires 3 AAA batteries to run.

We also suggest looking into getting the Mighty Bright AC Adapter (pictured here).

  1. I purchased this light and absolutely love it. It is light, sturdy and puts out great light that will make reading your charts easy and not look like a “spot light” from the audience’s perspective. Battery life has been good so far but I would recommend the AC adapter whenever your ‘workplace’ has power close to it (drummers, keyboard players, etc). Since I hate wires around myself, I’ll stick with the batteries for right now :) Cool product – definitely recommend it.

I use this light but mine didn’t come with a cool carrying case. But since it fits snugly back together when you’re not using it, that hasn’t been a problem. Battery power has been more than adequate; I seldom change batteries.

I will say, though, it really only shines enough light to illuminate one page in really dark situations. If you’re reading from 2 pages, a light for each side is necessary.
